Back-to-School...

Well, it's official. It's almost time to go back to school. This morning, Kaye, Alex and I braved Wal-Mart and got school supplies for Kaye and Sam. OY! I hate trying to get around all of the grabby kids (typically mine), the crabby adults and the carts. What a headache! We did pretty good though and managed to get through the aisle without too many dirty looks and harsh words (from me). : )

So, just one more week of freedom for Kaye and one week and one day left for Sammy. Unfortunately, that means that we have to go through their closets to see what still fits, what they've outgrown and what bare basics we can get by with until their birthdays. OY!!

Yesterday, Sam went to spend a couple of days in Clarinda with Nana & Papa and Kaye went to the Iowa State Fair with Grandpa Sonny, Grandma Sue, Aunt Bridget, Michael & Annie. So it was just Alex and I. It probably would've been much more relaxing if Alex would've actually taken a nap though!
